about the gallery

France registered a record 60,486 new cases of the coronavirus on November 6, a rise that comes despite the country in the grips of a second nationwide lockdown. French President Emmanuel Macron had enforced lockdown curbs on October 30 forcing the closure of non-essential shops, including cafes, restaurants and shops not selling basic foods or medicines in an attempt to contain a surge in contagion. France is currently the world’s fifth most affected country from Covid-19 as well as the third worst hit in terms of coronavirus related deaths.
